Still Life with Stone and Car, 2004
Installation , variable dimensions
car, stone, acrylic paint

"In Sydney, for the Biennial, I did a very big stone with a car on top and my part of making the work was to go out and choose a car, go to the stone quarry and pick up a piece of stone. I painted the stone, I did something, I really am the artist. I don’t care if it looks like I’m the artist or not. It’s the action on the piece and the experience that’s interesting for me."
