For Charlotte Posenenske, art was not the expression of an individual, but a form of social action. Between 1967 and 1968, Posenenske designed minimalist cardboard tubes. The hollow sculptures consist of various modules that are adaptable to the available space. Each installation can be modified and rearranged. Just like consumer goods, the tubes can be reproduced endlessly, and their market price always remains the same.
